Catherine is one of Singapore’s most hardworking and established actors, who through the years has proven her acting prowess time and again. Well known for both Stage and Television work, the multi-faceted Catherine thrives on character-driven roles and new challenges.In 2008, she founded The Glowers Drama Group, the first bilingual seniors drama group in Singapore to share her experience with senior citizens and give them an avenue for lifelong learning.

Peggy Ferroa brings her vast experience from stage, screen and radio to communities to uncover stories and truths that each community wants to share with the audience. She has created plays, musicals, short films and even radio plays for communities,. As producer, she finds local and international platforms to showcase The Glowers. As a playwright, her work has been featured at the Singapore International Festival of Arts, Singapore’s Silver Arts Festival, Japan’s World Gold Theatre Festival and Malaysia’s George Town Festival. 

Jalyn is a theatre practitioner and trainer with 40 years of experience in acting, directing, scriptwriting, and theatre education. She has worked with The Theatre Practice, Drama Box, The Necessary Stage, TheatreWorks, Toy Factory Theatre and Nine Years Theatre, as well as mainstream and special needs schools. Jaylyn often finds opportunities for school drama clubs to work with The Glowers to promote values in action.  

Shi Suen’s rich career in voice and acting spans 40 years. She has appeared on stage and screen and was nominated Best Actress in the Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards 2012 for Red Sky(红色的天空). She shares her vast knowledge of communication and linguistics as a trainer at Nanyang Technological University, Ngee Ann Poly, Singapore Media Academy, junior colleges and secondary schools. She coaches speech and voice for The Glowers and directs their radio plays.

Ace Chew Keng Long is a freelance theatre practitioner and drama educator actively engaged in the local Chinese theatre scene. He has been performing since his '20s and  in 2007, he decided to concentrate on drama education and facilitation and has grown from strength to strength ever since. He strongly believes the art of his practice lies within each individual. He uses is education and facilitation skills with The Glowers to help each individual develop their own self-awareness as well as to go deeper into each character and the story.

Alvin Chai has enhanced over 300 stage performances with sound, lights and visuals bringing to life the work of theatre directors, choreographers, and creative directors for over 20 years. Alvin is a technical manager and lighting designer adept at  many technical operations in a production. He works with great compassion with seniors and helps The Glowers in all their major local and overseas productions.
